Ellen Gray is the Founder and Director of the firm and a Licensed Conveyancer with close to 20 years of experience in the legal and property sectors. Since beginning her career in 2006, Ellen has witnessed — and embraced — the remarkable evolution of the conveyancing industry. From the days of paper-heavy offices, filing cabinets, and posted contracts to today’s digital-first platforms, she has adapted to every innovation while always keeping her clients at the centre of her work.

Ellen began her career in busy Melbourne-based law and conveyancing firms, building her expertise in fast-paced environments where precision, communication, and time management were essential. She has worked across all areas of residential and commercial property transactions, quickly earning a reputation for her reliability, technical skill, and approachable, client-focused style.

Over the years, Ellen has seen the shift from manual, paper-driven settlements — complete with in-person signings, physical title documents and long postal delays — to streamlined electronic systems. Platforms such as PEXA (Property Exchange Australia) and SPEAR (Surveying and Planning through Electronic Applications and Referrals) transformed the landscape, enabling real-time settlements, online lodgements, and significantly improved accuracy and efficiency.

Ellen was an early adopter of these technologies, recognising that embracing innovation was essential not only for operational efficiency but for delivering better client outcomes.
